Hey, I'm Eddie Carrara, I've been in the automotive repair business since 1988, so I have few years of experience fixing cars. I live in New England where the roads are horrible in the winter, and our changing climate puts vehicles through some pretty rigorous tests. On my channel you find mostly car and small engine repair information, but occasionally I put up a video on some information I know a lot of people could use, like the iPhone 5 charging problem.

This doesn't happen in my model STX base. There is existing straps that do nothing
Thanks for the video - was helpful, especially the description of the speed nut and other bolts for removing the cover, and the other bolts! I managed to get the cover off completly on mine but mainly because the bolt/nut started spewing rust when I turned it. Oh well, I guess that's another problem to solve!

LOL I have done this same task with a little bigger rock. I laugh when you describe the size of the hole. Except I used that same word to describe the rock as a BFR the whole time I was splitting it into 4 chunks using 20, 3/4 wedges and feathers which only requires a depth a 'little' deeper than the length of the wedge.. I dug out one side of the hole to make a dirt ramp to drag them out.

I think the bottom line is Honda put too small of a battery in this mower. Mine had 1.3 amp hours. I've been jump starting it off a 9 amp hour battery and it works great

I use to a Bosch GBH2-28L-RT 8.5 Amp 1-1/8 in. SDS-Plus Bulldog, to drill in boulders that size.
This video helps me a lot. My car was making scrapping sound because of metal plate touching the rotor. Found out that the inner part of the plate was touching the rotor and it’s super hard to detect.

When you hit reset, what mileage does it default to before oil life reaches zero again. For instance do have drive 5,000 miles before it shows zero again? Also, can you change that to some other mileage setting, such as 6,000?
Great video besides the pull do it slightly vibrates threw the steering wheel at high speeds
after dropping off my son in school ( in a construction zone) . I noticed a loud scrapping sound. Like something was stuck. I checked under the car . Couldnt find a thing. Checked again. Again nothing! Than proceeded to google says maybe a brake assembly or some other problem. Decided to google more and find this video. Turns out yes a small rock was stuck! thank you!

On my Golf Mk7 there is a knock on small bumps, on uneven roads, on speed bumps. It is heard only at low speeds of 5-22 km/h, after that it is almost inaudible. I hear the same sound when I start the engine, there is a knock-clunk, the same sound as when I drive on uneven roads, on speed bumps... I noticed that when I move the half shaft left and right, there is a knock in the cv axle, just like in your video, where are you explained that it can also be heard on speed bumps. I went to 3 service centers and they all say that the suspension is ok. Do you know what could be the problem?

IF shield could be an issue like you explained then why it comes randomly only for some time then stops ( Eg if I drive it starts after 5-10 km then for 2 mins only and then stops). If it is bent shield then it should be continuous, right ?

Brakes get very hot so the metal expands and contracts a lot. It’s possible it just needs a slight adjustment.
I never had this noise until today when the mechanic changed rear pads and rotors. Horrible scraping noise. We pulled it all out and inspected and found no signs of the backing plate scraping at all. But found the pad and rotors are already grooved deeply and its only been a few miles. The noise is worse during a turn and its still made when the tire turns and the brakes NOT being depressed. Almost like the wheel is doing it and not the rotors/backing plate.
I almost clicked away because that sound effects had at the beginning. I thought was a sound they were going to be talking about and that’s not the way my car sounds.

I have squealing and scraping noise while driving forward. Just had brakes changed two weeks ago with new caliper.
Most likely when they did your brakes, they bent the backing plate and it’s too close to the rotor, causing a scraping or squealing noise. Find out which wheel it’s going from and make an adjustment on the plate behind the rotor. You can use a long screwdriver and push on it just to move it away from the rotor a little, it doesn’t take much force to move this plate.
Can someone tell me what tools are needed to assemble this?
It comes with an Allan wrench driver with the hardware.

It really all depends on what’s wrong with the vehicle and what’s causing the noise. So you’ll have to have your vehicle. Inspected to see if it’s your brake pads or if it’s just something stuck between the backing plate and rotor

@@AnndyClark That was my nephew's car so I have no way of making a video. Are you still having issues? Is it intermittent? Can you access the shift lock via an access hole in the center console?

Make sure your brake lights are working, if that are not working every time you press the brake pedal your brake light switch is the problem not the shift interlock switch
Same problem as my Chevy equinox 11
Sometimes it’s just the caliper pins that are frozen so if you’re doing the work yourself, check those first before buying a caliper, you might be able to free them up at zero cost If the piston is frozen, then you’ll need to replace the caliper.

What torque did you use with the Screwdriver?
I didn’t actually torque them, but if I were to guess it be any anywhere from 7 to 9 foot pounds. I made sure the cabinet was straight once it stood up and the doors were aligned then I just tightened all the screws in the backside of the cabinet.

Sounds like you need to disassemble the trans for diagnosis.
